In order to receive federal student grants and loans, you must file your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at fafsa.gov.
Federal Grants and Benefits
Federal grants are financial awards from the government that do not have to be repaid. Most grants are not available to Graduate students. The government also provides a variety of military and veteran's benefits for qualifying service personnel and their families.

Loans
A variety of government-funded as well as consumer loans are available to help students pay for their education. These loans must be repaid. Two of the more common Federal loans available to Graduate students are listed below.
